Facial Aftercare
- Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated from the inside out. Hydration is crucial to promote healing and for overall skin health.
- Avoid Direct Sunlight: Protect your skin from excessive sun exposure for at least 48-72 hours after the treatment. UV rays can cause damage and slow the healing process. When you need to go outside, wear a wide-brimmed hat or use an umbrella.
- Apply Sunscreen: If you can't avoid the sun, use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher. Even on cloudy days, harmful UV rays can reach your skin.
- Avoid Makeup: For at least 24 hours, avoid applying makeup. Your skin needs time to heal and breathe. Makeup can clog the pores and cause irritation.
- Use Mild Skincare Products: Avoid using any harsh skincare products, such as retinol, exfoliators or products with alcohol, for a few days after the treatment. Stick to gentle cleansers and moisturizers to avoid causing irritation.
- Don't Exfoliate: Your skin will likely be sensitive after your facial treatment. Don't exfoliate for at least 72 hours to avoid further irritating your skin.
- Healthy Diet: Eating foods rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals will help your skin to heal
and maintain its glow.
- Sleep Well: Good sleep contributes to skin healing and regeneration. Try to get at least 7-9 hours of sleep per night.
- No Heavy Workouts: Avoid any heavy workouts or anything that causes excessive sweating for at least 48 hours. Sweat can cause irritation and may interfere with the healing process.
- Remember, you can always contact us if you have any concerns or if your skin isn't responding well following a facial treatment.
